Overview
This course will introduce resource management tools that can be used to develop, train and document personnel who are available for deployment during an animal or agricultural disaster. The course will describe how these tools can be utilized to support an all-hazards animal emergency response at local, state, tribal and federal levels.

The cost for this web course is $100.00 or you can choose three (3) courses for $250.00.
Scope
The course will be an introductory level, self-paced, on-line web-based course that will raise awareness of the utilization of national Credentialing Standards for Animal Emergency Responders. The course will describe the purpose and benefits of the credentialing program for animal emergency responders and will introduce how this program can be utilized to support an all-hazard animal emergency response at local, state, tribal, and federal levels.
Target Audience
Personnel who may be involved in a response to an animal disaster, including but not limited to emergency managers, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, Search and Rescue, veterinarians, veterinarian technicians, extension, public health, academia, animal control, non-governmental organizations (e.g. State Animal Response Team, Red Cross, Volunteer Organization Active in Disaster [VOAD], and Salvation Army), tribal nations, military and animal owners involved in disaster response, and federal, state, and local agencies and elected officials.
